As we conclude Nephi’s writings, he presents his final proclamations to the world. Among these, he offers guidance on how we can respond to contemporary proclamations:
“All ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ.”
When we feel insecure about sharing:
“for when a man speaketh by the power of the Holy Ghost the power of the Holy Ghost carrieth it unto the hearts of the children of men.”
The spirit in which we share:
“For I pray continually for them by day, and mine eyes water my pillow by night, because of them; and I cry unto my God in faith, and I know that he will hear my cry.”
“I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell.”
An example for us of the path he followed:
“press forward with a steadfastness in Christ,” following the “strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life.”
And hope for where that leads us:
“I have charity for my people, and great faith in Christ that I shall meet many souls spotless at his judgment-seat.”
In echoing Nephi’s heartfelt expressions, we are reminded of the profound impact of living and sharing God’s truths with sincerity and faith. In doing so, we honor his legacy and contribute to a world in need of genuine connection and hope.
