We were never meant to navigate life’s challenges alone. The “strength of the Lord” is accessible to everyone.
This week’s lesson highlights that regardless of our circumstances, we can repent and “turn to the Lord with full purpose of heart,” trusting in His promise to “deliver [us]” (Mosiah 7:33).
How can we then gain the spiritual strength necessary to overcome our personal challenges?
By diligently building our testimony of God, Jesus Christ, and the gospel, and engaging in prayer, scripture study, and fulfilling our purpose, God endows us with spiritual strength. This strength increases as we strive to obey His commandments and honor our covenants.
Recognizing His strength becomes evident in our enhanced ability to live according to the truths delivered through prophets. These truths, like those found in The Family: A Proclamation to the World, enable our precious relationships to extend beyond the grave and allow us to return to God’s presence and unite families eternally.
What better use is there for the strength He offers?
